It's better seen and heard, I think, than only read. That's how I feel about most of Shakespeare's plays too, actually. The version of OR which I saw was quite eclectic: Japanese taiko drummers were part of the Chorus. I thought it'd be ridiculous, but it was incredibly effective! When those huge, heavy, deep drums started throbbing, you believed the poor man was cursed! You could feel it right into your very bones!
