Catch-up 2: drabbles

Less work now, more work later.

"The first 10 people to comment on this post get to request a drabble (100-word microfiction piece) on a subject/character of their choosing from me. In return, they have to post this in their journal." Which [livejournal.com profile] tavadriel did for me, so here I am.

Caveat 1, similar to Tavi's: I don't mind fanfic, but if you ask for something from a fandom I'm not familiar with, I reserve the right to request a new prompt.

Caveat 2: If you've already done this in your own journal, feel free to ask me for one, and Our Lady of Chain Letters will not smite you if you don't do it again.

Anything DD - although preference for evil, twisty and/or makes-my-brain-hurt.

Throwing characterization entirely out the window...

She says, "You don't rush evil." So you get 100 words, not counting title, that at least make my brain hurt.

For those not in the know, D.D. is Destiny's Daughter. Nobody calls her D.D. in canon. Nobody would dare.

Backstage

"Put that out!" D.D. swats the cigarette from Nova's mouth. The girl puts all six hands on her hips.

"Why? I'm dead by the end of the book anyway!" She picks up the cigarette and stalks off.

"With an attitude like that, no wonder." D.D.'s feet hurt. There's a red-haired human in the director's chair, tilting it back so far it looks like she'll fall over. D.D. glares, and summons her most intimidating telepathic voice: {Get out.}

Marty leans back farther and summons a handful of chaos energy. "You wanna make me?"

The evil overlady is having a bad day.

Thank you so much!

I'm not sure about my *brain* hurting, but my mouth is, from grinning so wide. Although getting a reply from Herself is its own special sort of hurting.

And Marty found a way in!

*very, very happy me*
