The Horsehead, maybe?

I spent all day running data analyses, and came home absolutely coated in null results.  This is a special brand of bad day that non-academics just don't have to deal with.  So coming home and discovering this was especially delightful.  Apparently someone liked Ghosts and Simulations enough to nominate it for a Nebula.  This is a far cry from even the preliminary ballot, but still enough to improve my mood dramatically.  My first award nomination!  I will love it and hug it and call it George.  And perhaps I will get off my butt and finish the dinosaurs-in-Chicago novel.
