Books Read, October 2010
Nov. 5th, 2010 05:39 pmSomehow, in spite of the continuing grading, I managed to find a little more reading time this month:
( Midnight Never Come by Marie Brennan )
( Cheaper by the Dozen )
( Longitude by Dava Sobel )
( The Prisoner of Zenda by Anthony Hope )
( Coming of Age by Studs Terkel, sort of )
( The Apocalypse Door by James D. Macdonald )
( Miss Manners' Guide for the Turn of the Millennium )
( A Civil Contract by Georgette Heyer )
( The Lifecycle of Software Objects by Ted Chiang )
( In the Light of Sigma Draconis by Eleanor Aronson )
( Cryoburn! )
Other Media Consumed:
( Farscape, Shadow Unit, and Criminal Minds )
Total Books: 11
Recent Publication: 2/11
Rereads: 1/11
Recommended by Jo ratio: 2/11
New Music: none
New Media Produced: I've finally gotten back to writing daily! Not always on the publishable stuff, mind. Good progress on "Detours," "Highways and Labyrinths," and the awkward not-quite-Star-Trek fanfic. That one only works with the serial numbers partially rubbed off, but I can't resist the lure of deconstruction.
I've also figured out that I can't do more with Aphra Marsh without researching Japanese-American culture in the 50s, and have actually begun that research.
