I eventually want the complete on disk, but I admit to wishing they would produce a couple of hard copies in case civilization collapses in a massive EMP surge. What I really want in hard copy is the abridged with word origins. It's two thick onion-skin volumes and comes with a magnifying glass. And I want the Historical Thesaurus. I yearn for the Historical Thesaurus.

I can't say the Cast does anything better than any other book, and I can't identify any particular element I'm reading it for. It just has the page-turning nature.
