ashnistrikeI called them! It was not easy to get through--I ended up talking to someone in Durbin's local office, and to an answering machine at Obama's national office. I suspect that's a good sign.
Normally I have sort of a hump when it comes to calling my reps (mostly vestigial social phobia). It was a quote from West Wing that did it: something along the lines of, "Why is it only twits who know how to lick a stamp?" So I am attempting to be a non-twit stamp-licker.
