Breakfast:  omelet with left-over mushroom duxelles

Lunch:  Cheater's cider donut.  I had cramps.  It helped.

Dinner:

Venison shoulder roast with roasted veggies, for certain definitions of veggies
Venison (last of the barter meat)
butter (back to the made-from-cream version)
red wine (Sunflower Market, at the beginning of the week)
Honey (Wisconsin farmers' market)
sage (Green City Market)
tiny sweet onions (GCM)
garlic (GCM)
shallots (Lombard farmers' market)
tiny potatoes (Heritage Prairie Market)
Cornbread!
corn meal (Plapp Family Organic Farm)
all-purpose flour, which I have a whole new appreciation for (Plapp Family Organic Farm)
sugar (exception)
eggs (Phil's, from Whole Foods)
milk (Whole Foods)
baking powder (exception)
salt (exception)
And honey and butter to spread on it.

Things learned today:  Life is better with flour.

Thanks, it was. I am not normally a big corn bread fan, but Nameseeker was right that it goes better with honey.
