No line at our polling place this morning at 9:30, although all the booths were full.  This is a relatively conservative town, though.  Now crossing my fingers, pacing, trying in vain to plan studies, and refreshing 538 obsessively until this evening.

Yesterday morning, the city of Chicago asked all the schools to close at 3 PM today, giving me an unexpected evening off and the ability to avoid the traffic jams that will be accumulating around Grant Park.  However, I don't actually have a lot of wiggle room in my Intro Psych schedule for the rest of the semester.  I will push the next few days' worth of material forward by a class period until I get to Intelligence, which I think I can compress into a single session.

Yes.  Because of the presidential election, we have less Intelligence.

LOL, if you can compress Intelligence into a single session, is there any chance you could also compress it into a tablet or power bar? Something that would make it easier to distribute.
